Community engagement
Wilder Wenhaston
Wilder Wenhaston is a network of villagers who have joined forces to help local nature recovery and improve our neighbourhood environment for people and wildlife within the context of the wider climate emergency. It was established after several villagers identified a need for action.

Natural Habitat
A project weaving Farms, Land, People & Planet
Natural Habitat is a new environmental education charity based in the Blyth Valley who have been generously funded by
Farming in Protected Landscapes
to collaborate with 7 farms from the
Blyth Valley Farm Cluster.
WFLP&P will support farmers in establishing and developing close links with local primary schools and refugee organisations, via farmer training, resource creation and in school and on farm sessions.
.The project will see farms working with diverse public engaging experts to foster skills, so they can share learning via their rich and varied landscapes beyond the farm gate. Experts include: a professional forager, a community artist, an ecologist, a farms-school expert and a chef. In addition, the project will also work with a filmmaker to create a Landscape Record film; to document the project and capture the participating farms at this pivotal point in farming history, to share the voices of this landscape beyond the timeframe and geographical restrictions of this project
.For more details and to keep up to date with project developments, contact Carrie Phoenix: carrie@naturalhabitat.org.uk or follow Natural Habitat via their Instagram page: @naturalhabitatcommunity or their website:
